Successful Recertification Confirms Ishida’s High Standards

19 Aug 2024

Ishida Europe is proud to announce that it has successfully passed a recent integrated ISO audit with no non-conformances and positive feedback from the assessors.

The inspection covered ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management systems and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety certifications. Ishida’s commitment to maintaining these globally recognised standards underlines our uncompromising focus on quality, sustainability, health and safety, and employee well-being in the design, manufacture and delivery of world-class packing line solutions.

“To receive such an outstanding report card with no non-conformances across three standards is a great achievement and one that underlines the dedication, hard work and support of everyone within Ishida Europe,” said Sujeet Kumar, Ishida Europe’s Quality Manager.

“What this demonstrates is how adherence to meeting and exceeding these accreditation requirements is part of our daily working lives, and how we continually strive to make further improvements wherever we see an opportunity. I congratulate the entire team and would like to thank our 20 process owners across the key functions who work tirelessly to ensure we are maintaining our standards.”

ISO 9001 helps organisations of all sizes and sectors improve their performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate their commitment to quality through a comprehensive quality management system. ISO 14001 provides a structure for businesses to design and implement an environmental management system, and continually improve their environmental performance. ISO 45001 is the world’s first International Standard for occupational health and safety, which provides a framework to increase safety, reduce workplace risks, and enhance health and well-being at work.

“I salute team Ishida Europe on delivering such a fantastic result,” said Dave Tiso, Managing Director of Ishida Europe. “I would also like to extend my thanks to outgoing Technical Director Seisaku Iwasa who has now returned to Ishida Japan but played a significant role in securing this accreditation”.

“We can only deliver the best for our customers if we constantly strive to deliver the best in every area of our operations. Such a successful recertification is one example of how we will constantly seek to go the extra mile for our customers, and for each other.”
